November

Grandma and papa Peterson come to visit & Halloween!

Because my parents wouldn't be here for Tanner's birthday they gave him a little party and present while they were here.
My parents brought me some DELICIOUS pine nuts. I love pine nut picking and wish I could be in the west to get some. The little bag they brought was not enough for Andrew and I to fight over. This was about a 1/4 of what they brought.

Tanner helped my dad a little carve a pumpkin. He was not so sure about getting down and dirty in the gooey seed mess.

Benson wasn't either.
Headed the the Gardens

Benson loves the trains. If you look closely you can see is big puckered lips "CHOO CHOOING"
My Grandma also came out to visit but stayed with my uncle Russell who lives out here. My parents, my family, my grandma, Russell and some of his family all went to the zoo together one fine day.
Four generations

"Speak no evil, see no evil, hear no evil"
Happy Halloween!
Tanner as a pirate (Not Hook, because Hook does not wear an eye patch-but he wanted one) and Benson as Peter Pan (because it was easy to match to a "pirate")

Let the fight BEGIN!
My friend made us the most YUMMY dessert pizza made on an enormous sugar cookie!
I forgot to take a picture before we all dug in! Thanks though...it was GOOD!
My AMAZING neighbors dress up every year. This year they did the Labyrinth theme. They also has twin two year old girls they dressed up as goblins from the movie. I missed their picture!
Taking a stroll across the Missouri river

"I am going to MISS you GRANDPA"
Saying good bye after a fun week visit.
To brighten the mood of family leaving Andrew and Tanner sat down for their favorite Oreos and milk bedtime snack. Totally an ANDREW thing! :)

Halloween Singing Time Party

My little Peter Pan
Batman- who is really supposed to be dressed as Hook. (He changed at the last minute)

October- Grandma and pa Bleak come to visit!

All bundled up on one of our nicer Nebraska days. :)
Going out for ice cream.... one of Grandpa's favorite things.

We took them to the zoo for a day.

Kanesville Tabernacle
We drove down Missouri to see a few more church sites.
Adam-Ondi-Ahman
Benson at Tower Hill
The day turned out to be really really nice. The only bad thing was Adam-Ondi-Ahman was swarming with little lady bug type beetles that sometimes bite. Andrew's parents thought they were kind of cool at first... until they started to attack. They covered us from head to toe. The kids, Andrew, and I didn't get bit. But they got one or two bites.

Far West
Lorell took Tanner into this field right next to the temple site and took a few pictures. It was fun to watch them play.

The drive. Benson did....ok!

A shout out from Benson:
We miss you Grandma and Grandpa Bleak!
Thanks for coming and spending time with us!!

Good-bye photo with the Grandparents

Seriously!?.... GROSS!

Benson had been out of his high chair for about an hour. When I finally went to clean up the tray and seat, picking up food from were he was sitting... I almost grabbed this NASTY SPIDER!!!. I freaked out! Andrew wasn't home to kill it so I went next door to get another man to to the job. He wasn't home either so my lovely friend came and did the deed!
I checked Benson for bites but he didn't have any. Hopefully he showed up AFTER I took Benson out! YUCK!!!
