Easter weekend

This year I was in charge of the VG Annual Easter Egg Hunt. I bought a $100 worth of candy (not out of my pocket thank goodness) and stuffed I don't know how many eggs with the help of Tanner and friend Kjersta. We then COVERED the big playground of our complex with colorful eggs and candy. This picture shows about 1/2 of the playground itself. Afterwards I had a few crafts so I never really got any good pictures of the kids. I was always busy doing something. I thought Tanner would be bummed I wasn't helping him. But I think he had more fun helping hide the eggs then anything else. It turned out pretty good I think!Andrew's Birthday!
The house ready for him to arrive home!
Kids that couldn't wait until that night to eat a cupcake! Finally home from school! Bust in!!
Poser!
Happy Birthday Andrew! You really aren't that old... maybe next year though! :) I love you and hope we made the day fun for you. You are a great dad and husband. You work so hard and we are so grateful of all you have done for us.
Ward Easter Egg Hunt 3/27

It was a colder day so they had the hunt inside after a yummy brunch at the church. So they hid eggs in different rooms for the age groups. I took Benson to his and sent Tanner off to his. (Andrew had to work and wasn't with us.) Benson ended up getting like 10 eggs and Tanner only got one because he started late from being with me in Benson's room. So I took out a bunch of Benson's eggs and re-hid them for Tanner. They both had a lot of fun! Zoo with friends 3/25
Little Benson
Such a cute little man!
Scalped head! It doesn't look bad here but in person it looks worse. And he doesn't have any hair growing there weeks later.
Benson has followed his brothers example and started climbing up on the couch arm to turn on a lamp we have. One day he saw some hand sanitizer (which he loves) and thought he could reach it. Inside he fell between the couch and the cabinet and scrapped up his face and scalped part of his head. He cried for about 5 minutes before relaxing. After he chilled enough for me to look him over I saw something in his hair and thought he hasn't had any lunch yet? But it wasn't food. It was SKIN and HAIR in a HANDFUL in my hand! YUCK!!! I started to freak out when Tanner rushed in saying, "It's okay mom, his body will make a band aid with a scab. He will be all right!" Thanks to my little doctor I did calm down to realize he would be OK!!!!Blood... again!
Poor Benson wakes up with a bloody nose at least once a week it seems. I must not be putting enough Vaseline in his nose still. This happened in the night. I heard him kind of fussing and went in his room but didn't turn on the light. Had I, I would have noticed all this blood pouring out of his nose! It's not always this bad. Usually just blood crusty's in his nose. But still... pour little guy. I used to have the same problems! :(Saturday, April 10, 2010
Trunk picnic 3/15/10
Since it has started warming up enough the kids could go outside, Tanner has been wanting to have picnics. One day he came up to me and said, "Mom can we have a trunk picnic and eat in the back of the car?" I thought why not but knew Benson would want to and would probably make a huge mess. So I just took his whole seat out. Tanner loved it and thought it was the coolest thing ever. Until he got to cold. So I just shut the back and they both just sat in there and finished their lunches. So easily entertained!
Bloody nose! 3/14/10
After church we laid Benson down for a nap. When I went to get him out, this is how we found him. It has been so dry with the weather starting to change that both of my boys get bloody noses all the time. I have been putting vaseline up their noses now!The funny thing was... Benson didn't even care. He was like whats the big deal?!
Zoo with Dad! 3/5/10

Andrew doesn't get to go with us to the zoo very often. But he did this day. And I didn't even get any pictures with all of us. There was one with Andrew but it wasn't focused good. But we got a lot of good pictures of some of the animals. I will miss living so close to the zoo when we have to move. One more year at least!

This picture should go after all the other pictures, but Tanner thought it would be cool to plant grass through out all the house... and I mean THROUGHOUT!
