Last week Andrew, Tanner, and I all went to the dentist. Tanner had never been. So for the whole week before we went, I talked to him about what the dentist would do and how they would look and poke at his teeth with special tools to make sure their was no "Sugar Monsters" on them. (I remember watching some movie in elementary school and the "bad stuff to eat" were monsters...so that's were I came up with sugar monsters). Anyhow he did so good and did everything the dentist asked. They couldn't believe it was his first time and he didn't freak out once. He really did amazing. After he was finished they gave him a new toothbrush, writing erase pad, and a couple toys. Needless to say he was thrilled and loved his visit to the dentist!
Andrew and I on the other hand were nervous to go to the dentist (and this is really embarrassing to say) but Andrew hadn't been for 6 years and me for almost 9! I know kind of ridiculous!!! So we were nervous to hear the results of our visit. They took me in first and took x-rays, cleaned my teeth, poked around, then told me I was done. I asked how many cavities I had and they said, "None your mouth looks great, whatever your doing keep doing it and always remember to floss!" I could not believe it! So I hurried in to see about Andrew. He wasn't as lucky as me but still only had one cavity! I was pretty pumped about our visit, but think I have to give the credit to my faithful super duper Braun OralB toothbrush and the best Crest Whitening Expressions Extreme Herbal Mint toothpaste. Andrew and I both have that toothbrush and have been using them for over 5 years and they've done their work. I highly recommend both to anyone!Hooray for an awesome family dentist trip! And we do plan to make them regular now!

Way to go Jenny! That is freakin awesome....however Matt says that you need to eat more sugar, you are not good for the business! haha I am sad that we didn't get together over the break! Looks like you had a ton of fun though! Miss ya!
I think we need to get that toothbrush & toothpaste. The kids go every six months. Me and Richard go every 1 1/2 it is so much easier to take the kids. I hate having to find someone to watch the kids. We should go every six months since we have insurance.
Awesome job at the dentist! What dentist do you guys go to? I need to find a good one for Kyle and I. Anyways, horray for no cavities! (9 years, thats got to be a record! haha)
