Brothers!

All ready for bed!

Just a few pictures I thought were cute and wanted to post!

Turkey bone

I've never had to cook a turkey for Thanksgiving and wanted to cook one for fun, but I forgot to save the "Wish Bone". So the second one I cooked I was sure to remember. Tanner was so excited about it. I told him it had to dry and then we would make a wish and break it. He carried it around all day asking if it was ready yet. After he realized it would take a few days he set it down and forgot about it, until one day he was at the sink washing his hands and came running into the other room where I was screaming, "Mom it's ready mom it's ready!" So we each took a side made a wish and broke it. TANNER WON! I asked what he wished for and him and Andrew said "No telling or it won't come true!" It was fun for us both!

Trip to the ZOO!

As Benson is getting older, he is starting to like going and looking at all the animals and things at the zoo, it was a fun family day out!

Beautiful butterfly in the Butterfly House...
and flower

Yes that is a HUGE frozen waterfall behind the boys. It looks cold out there but it was actually a tropical day for us in the high 40's.

Silly Tanner

I was looking through the pictures on my camera and found this shot.... that Tanner obviously took of himself. I couldn't help but laugh. I always get so many pictures of random objects he thinks are cool... or his own face. :)

Do you think this fits???
So I was going through Tanner's old clothes and pulling out the sizes that would fit Benson, Tanner thought he'd help by going through a bigger size bag and found this for him. I told him it was too small but he put it on anyway and wore it around all day and put it on the next. I finally said it needed to be washed and put it away. Luckily he hasn't asked for it again.

He loves his airplanes

Busting out his awesome moves and showing off his HUGE muscles.

" Don't you dare take that picture!"
What a cute little B.U.M.

Back in Nebraska!

The boys after church just playing around.

Andrew and Benson having a bonding moment.
The beginning on January on the plane heading back to Nebraska. It wasn't a very full flight so we had two rows and Benson's carseat, so he was able to fall asleep in that and Tanner had room to spread out and sleep. It was a great flight home!

Trip to Cedar City

Some of the last days we were out west we headed to Cedar to spend some time with more family. We stayed at a hotel, so the next morning we invited the cousins over to swim. Ashley, Benson, Savannah, Jeffery, Colby, Tanner, Andrew, Bailey, and Amber soaking in the hot tub.

Benson 7 months old.
It was Benson's first time in a pool and I think he loved it. He just splashed and watched everyone swim around him.

Trip to Panguitch

We headed to Panguitch for the day to visit with my Grandma Roe. It was great but the time was to short, I wish we would have been able to spend the night so we could have talked longer.
Aunt Deanna with Benson
She had him laughing pretty hard with bobbing her chin.

Great grandma Roe with Benson

Just hanging out

While we were out west Benson got a fever of 104, with it going up and down for almost four whole days. My mom said we needed to take him to the doctor. And fun for us my mom got to be the nurse over him. When the doctor came in he basically said let it runs its course but if it gets worse we'd give him an antibiotic. Luckily the next morning his temp was back to normal and he was fine from there on out, but then Tanner's temperature peaked and lasted the rest of the week. Who knows what they had?!
Tanner and Benson riding a horse.

They liked it but right when I went to take the picture Tanner got upset because he thought Benson was going to fall... hence the face!
Gaming it up.

Taking a bath in grandma's sink.

Visiting Grandma

Grandma Martha lives at the hospital and loves to have visitors, lucky for us we were able to go spend a few days visiting with her and listen to all her wonderful stories while we were back at home.

Working hard!

Grandpa put Tanner straight to work when he got there. He ran the wood cutter machine while Andrew and grandpa went back and forth for more wood. Tanner even helped carry the smaller pieces over to the wood pile. He would have loved to do that all day if he could.

Taking a ride with grandpa. He couldn't wait to go 4-wheeling. But after coming back about 15 minutes later I knew something must be wrong. Tanner walked in with a frown and said, "It's too cold!"
While Tanner played outside, Benson enjoyed the warmth of the indoors.

Back to Vegas

Benson and Kenny
The Mommy's
My cousin Capri and me
Cousin Nicole, me, and sisters Camille and Amber acting out the old times.
In the early nineties there was a concert with tons of celebrities to raise money to find a cure for aids called "For Our Children" which they then made into a VHS that my aunt bought. We watched that movie at LEAST 5 times a day everyday memorizing the songs we liked and fast forwarding the ones we didn't. But the Mickey Mouse club was our favorite and we all had a part. Over ten years later we still know all the songs and actions by heart!
The day after Christmas my family went to Vegas to have a little dinner party with my dad's side of the family. It was fun to see cousins I haven't been able to see and missed the one's that couldn't make it. We also got to spend some more time with my grandparents and enjoyed chatting it up!

CHRISTMAS!

All Tanner wanted for Christmas was a Hulk! When he walked out Christmas morning and saw one he picked it up and said, "Look Santa gave me a Hulk! De de de de deeee" then he found a Santa Pez in his stocking and said again, "A Santa Pez! De de de de deeee" as he would shake his hips and do a little dance! Andrew and I couldn't have asked for a better reaction!
Cousins Colby and Bailey in the back with their Christmas presents!

Grandpa entertaining the grand kids!

Andrew with Benson in his "SPOT". He sat here at least 2 hours total everyday. He is addicted to the HEAT!
Cousin and friend Bert with Andrew! It's always great to see Bert and catch up since we never get to see him very much. Thanks for coming to visit us!
