They need new suits
Andrew's school was cancelled today at noon and he just found out it is cancelled tomorrow too. The snow just keeps coming. He has shoveled our walk way at least four times and it doesn't like like he did anything. Yesterday I took the boys out to play, but today was too cold. Andrew and Tanner went out for a while and had tons of fun. Benson and I stayed warm inside!
I walked down stairs the other night to find this. It was too cute, I had to take a picture!

Tanner has some weird corky things he does. Like packing his underwear around the house because he thinks they're cool. Not all the time, but more than enough. So today he was carrying around a pair and I told him to go put them away. I didn't see them anymore and forgot about it until I saw them poking out of his hat. I asked him why his underwear was in his hat. He looked at me like, "How could she possibly know that?" I started to laugh when I realized he was really serious about trying to hide them so he could keep them with him. I took a quick picture then made SURE he put them where they belong.
Andrew wanted an Orange Julius. The kids were down playing so I made one for him and one for me. As soon as I sat down to enjoy mine I had two kids on my lap. They drank the entire thing in minutes. So Andrew and I ended up sharing the other one. Benson thought it was great!

Tanner was in this box for about 20 minutes. I kept asking him if he could breathe or if we wanted out. He wanted to stay in. Finally I made him get out.
My sister Camille with husband Jonathan and kids Carlaya and Noah drove all the way from Las Vegas to celebrate Thanksgiving with our family. We were so grateful to have them with us.

Thanksgiving night we went downtown to watch the lighting of all the trees. It was fun until Andrew had the idea to find a nice spot in the park to watch. Good spot.... FULL of dog poop. Yep... most of us stepped in some and had it on shoes, clothes, stroller, and mouth. Yes, I said mouth. MY MOUTH!! Carlaya had stood up in the stroller so I hurry and grabbed out Benson's binky (which he shouldn't have had anyway). I didn't know if she had stepped on it so I was going to suck it just to make sure it was clean. That's when I realized something WAS on it. I spit almost as soon as it touched my mouth then smelt the awful smell. It's at that time we realized POOP was EVERYWHERE. Using our cellphone lights we started trying to clean up. If only I had packed mouthwash with me. Luckily NONE stayed in my mouth, no potty mouth here! ;)

A friend came to the door with this invitation and red apple. The party was a ton of fun and got me excited for the soon to open movie. I am not a hard core fan that attended the movie opening night but I did go Saturday with a group of about 20 girls.

Then we headed over the the Children's Museum with a few friends.
Don't ask me who the boy is on the right. Almost every picture I took he would pop up in it and pose. He even asked me to take some of just him alone. Really? I was kind of annoying to me at first and then funny. Where on earth were his parents?
We didn't throw a party for him this year but did invite a few families over to enjoy some cake and ice cream with us to help celebrate.

I went into Tanner's room one night to make sure he was covered up and could see something dark on his face. I didn't want to turn on the light so I went and got a flashlight. His nose had started to bleed then dried to his face. It looked so scary. (Yes I checked to see if he was breathing.) But wasn't to scared because he had been getting tons of bloody noses lately because of the weather change. When me and my brother were little it used to happen to us all the time too. But having it be something you don't see everyday I ran and got the camera!
For a few weeks in November Coco Keys (an indoor water park here in Omaha) was having a promotional period of if you arrived between 3-5 on a weekday you could get in free- as long as it didn't go over max capacity). So we went on a Thursday and had been telling Tanner for the whole week. He was so excited to go. We arrive and it happened to be a Black Out day and if we wanted to go we would have to pay. Andrew said, "I knew it wouldn't be that easy!" I wasn't giving up... but wasn't going to pay either. I made sure that Monday we would be able to get in and the man said we should have no problem. As we turned to leave the exciting park you could see through the glass doors; Tanner went running for them. It was hard for him to understand we wouldn't be able to go that day. Luckily we had high hopes for the following Monday and got in for FREE! We ended up staying for just under 2 hours but it was plenty of time for all of us. We had a great, fun, exciting, and WET FHE!
Benson was a little unsure of all the people. Then it didn't help that him and me got about 200 gallons of water dumped onto our heads and into his face as I leaned down to run and avoid the heavy water coming at us.

The weather was pretty good in November and the kids played just right outside our house a lot soaking up all they could before the snow and freezing weather hit.
