My little one

Pulling a funny faceI'm hungry... stop taking pictures.I know I already have to many tutu pictures... but these were better than the last ones I took.Little lamb

Zzzzz

I asked Tanner to hold Kensley so I could make dinner. When dinner was ready I went to go get them both and found them like this. Poor Tanner... always falling asleep!

Love pink!

Once again she will never let me take some pictures of her happy and calm... I think I need to just stop trying. My friend Allie made the cute blanket and handband Kensley is wearing.

Such a sweetheart! ;)

Andrew wanted to take a garnet he found up in the hills and have it professionally made into a nice necklace. It never happened so he decided on one of his days off while he was doing lots of other projects to make it himself. He wouldn't let me come downstairs because he was working on something but needed me to get him some string. I wondered what on earth he would need string for that I couldn't see. Once he finished he had me close my eyes and he put it around my neck. When I opened my eyes I was DAZZLED by its beauty! For sure a piece of art that will liven up any outfit. :) Thanks babe! It meant a lot to me, even though it was just for fun!

Playing on the playground

This playground is on the far end of our complex and my boys have taken I liking to it and the hills/ramps leading down to it. Benson thinks he can just take off any time he wants to it and takes off as fast as he can. In seconds he is out of our sight. So far a head that we have had friends bring him home because a little 2 year old is off running by himself. Luckily we do have people watching out for him, he makes me so nervous how far he can get so fast.

Mother and Daughter

Kenlsey 1 month old!!!

At 1 month Kensley weighs 8 lb. 8 oz.

Daddy and Kensley

Kensley is starting to smile at US now and not just randomly! She was doing it but I didn't get a picture. She loves her DADDY though and loves to be held by him!

Big helper!

I went to the temple last week so I pumped a bottle before I left just in case Kensley got hungry. She didn't need it before I got home but Tanner has wanted to help feed her since she was born and since he CAN'T help when I am feeding her I let him give her the bottle (her very first one and she did good). Anyhow now every time Kensley wakes up and is hungry Tanner starts yelling, "Mom where is a bottle, I need to feed her, she's hungry!" --Sorry Tanner but she will get her food a whole lot faster if I just feed her now instead of pump a bottle to let you feed her. :) He has gotten to feed her again though and loves it!

VG Bike Parade

On Labor Day we had a bike parade. The kids were to decorate their bikes and parade them around. Too bad there was the worst WIND ever that day. I thought I would be the coolest mom ever and buy them some shiny helium filled balloons to put on their bikes. So I went out and got the balloons and tied them to the car seat (I thought) and some groceries. When I got home I started unloading the car when I looked up in time to see the balloons floating away. I was so bummed and almost even mad. The boys didn't even get to see them. So instead I blew some balloons up myself and taped them on their bikes, they had fun anyway. Tanner was so funny. They taped lines for a bike path to follow and Tanner followed it right on. I don't think his front tire ever left the line. He was concentrating so hard to be perfect!!

Labor Day parade

Kensley's 1st parade!

We all thought the parade was awesome with these HUGE blowup characters. They had a ton of them but I am only posting a few.
Benson liked the candy more than the floats I think. :)

Tanner thought these guys were awesome!
This was a tree guy on stilts. On his hand and feet. Andrew and I were watching it in aww when it took off running like a gorilla. The craziest looking thing I have ever seen. This picture does him no justice.

Starting our 4th year here in Omaha and this is the first parade that we have ever gone to. I don't know why we never went to any others. It was a lot of fun!

The kids

Isn't she a doll!!!
Kensley at 3 weeks old in the picture above and below.

I have found out Kensley doesn't really like getting her picture taken. She never wants to cooperate with me.
I was upstairs feeding Kensley when the boys got quiet. I just KNEW they were getting into something they shouldn't. Instead I found them both like this.... sound asleep!
Benson of course has McQueen in his hand. I have never seen a kid so obsessed with a movie or the characters. Anything about the Disney Car's movie he loves.
I left them sleeping but walked through the room about 10 minutes after the first time I saw them and Benson had snuggled up to Tanner. Both still asleep. I didn't get that picture but it was cute.
